South India Meet 2019 at Valparai--Done and dusted!!

The usual culprits showed up with a few new faces making for a gregarious bunch of motor-heads. As always the discussion starts with anything drivable and proceeds to innumerable topics ranging from health to food to tips and tricks, literally anything under the Sun....

    The Gang:

Joe Sir: All in one personality with a golden heart, can illuminate any discussion with his vast knowledge and experience. He's legendary for driving a 1.9D palio and the use of vegetable oils as additives.

Pradeep Rotti: Erstwhile Punto 90 HP owner, now drives a Skoda Rapid Automatic, but assumes he's driving a VRS. Speed is in his veins and a mouth that brags about the speeds that he attains...... can light up an argument with facts.

Devidas Menon: The man who makes meets happen and with a heart of gold that takes the arrangements to the next level. Drives a Palio MJD which maybe upgraded soon.

JB & JG: Johny Boy & Girl.... An unassuming couple who drove down all the way from Mumbai for the meet. While JB can crack some witty jokes, JG is grace personified and hats off to her for braving the Fiatians twice.

Praveen CBV: The much traveled IT executive managed to join us in the last minute juggling his schedules to be part of the meet. Owns a palio 1.6 and a Linea MJD.

Rajashekar: The soft mannered hulk drives quite a few mean machines including a brand new Abarth Punto, Punto 90 HP and a Skoda VRS. The first time I met him, he was wiping off the dust from his new Abarth after reaching the venue in record time.

Sai Aditya: Soft spoken, affable guy who came to the meet in a Punto 90 that had clocked more than 1.5 lakh kms but looked to be in impeccable mint condition.

Miki: Collector extraordinaire.... Has 29 cars in his parking lot of which 22 are Fiats and was on the prowl to add more to his collection. Has equal number of bikes too.... He can give a big complex to ladies and their sense of dressing.... Instead he can drive a different car everyday!!

Diwakar: A sober, highly principled man, can drive his Punto 90 HP at great speeds. Makes it a point to be part of most of our meets. One word defines him-- RESPECT

Nimalan: He and brother had to drop out after starting from Chennai one day ahead due to some problem in the Palio 1.6. Missed meeting them again....

Yours Truly: Ex-Fiatian, with fiat blood running all over, drives a Tata Nexon now after milking the Palio MJD for 2.3 lakh kms.

Imagine, when such a gregarious crowd meets up, fireworks are bound to happen and everyone had a blast. Valparai is 3800 feet above sea level and the hill drive of about 60 kms was a challenge gladly accepted by the Fiats and the curves, amazing scenery all around and empty roads for the most part made for a wonderful experience to cherish for a long time to come.

I'm going to let the pictures do all the talking...... Fasten your imagination and enjoy the ride.....

Awesome clicks from everyone shared above. It was a revealation to know that mobiles could do such wonderful job. The tree cover, green tea plantations, little bit of water and the hills and valleys made for some unforgettable memories and the sundowners were epic.... Missing all the fun already!!

Great photos guys and sad to see loyal FIATian are moving away from the brands as FIAT India is not offering what we are looking for in the market.

Missed this meet but next would love to join in.

@Marshals anything planned for Mumbai Pune guys?

    Great Pictures

It reminded of our National meet at Ooty! Hello to all new & old faces

The good part of being with the MFW meets is the love and passion for the Fiats and nature never subsides...and not to forget our Fiats are just so gorgeous to ride whether it's in the valleys, ghats, jungles.

I could see the beauty & the grace of the Indian Pita bird and Joe sir's Palio 1.9D so complimenting each other

P.S. the pic of Pradeep and his resemblance is so hilarious Couldn't agree more to it.... Did he allowed anyone to speak?? Looks like the Food kept him busy

Happy that we are continuing this legacy...hoping we all meet again soon from all parts of the country!

    Cheers~
