I need to change my Palio's tyre currently running on MRF ZLO 195/60/14
Yes Channa, I have completed about 10,000 kms on the GY Assurance Triplemax tyres till date. They continue to impress me with their low rolling resistance, wet handling and grip, braking ability and low tyre noise. No punctures to report as well. They are still very soft to touch. I have done Daman, Silvassa, Mahabaleshwar / Panchgani, Shirdi and multiple Lonavla / Khandala trips in the last one year and the drives have been relaxed due to low tyre noise. Faced one instance of emergency braking where I had shed speed quickly from 60 km/h and there was no drama at all. The car stopped in a straight line without the ABS kicking in.

Overall, absolute VFM tyres till now. They seem a far cry from the low end Good year tyres that used to come as OEM fitments on our Palios a decade back. Even the mileage oriented GY Duraplus is doing good in the market and my tyre guy says they are one of the best in the budget range. I am contemplating on changing the MRF ZLOs on the Palio. The decision is already made for me. I will be shifting to stock 175/65 R14 GY Assurance Triplemax this time around.

Compared to the ZLO, I would say the GY is more of an all round tyre rather than being sport oriented. Anyways, driving very hard around corners does not suit the Rapid. Maybe with Palio they will be better. The ZLO provide that extra bit of grip during fast corners but as you know, there are noisy. So you will trade probably some amount of fun for more comfort and less road noise.

I will be going in for a tyre change for my Honda City. (if i decide to retain the car)
    Currently running on Michelin XM2
    Will opt for the GY.

Palio running on Yoko A drive. I am extremely happy with the same.
