    The Hazard Warning Triangle..A help in distress!

    When in distress, its the little things that make a difference!

    Our Fiats come equipped with this decently sized warning triangle that fits neatly in a red plastic box. The one in the Palio is made by 'Lumax' and has the following instructions for use:
    - Driver must activate the vehicular hazard warning signal lamps before leaving the vehicle to erect the warning device;
    - Put the warning device approx. 50 mts away from the vehicle at the rear/front of the vehicle as per traffic conditions.

    This reflective warning equipment may come in handy to warn fellow highway users, especially where street lamps don't exist. Do the Punto and Linea come with difference ones?

    I haven't (thankfully) got a chance to make use of these as yet. Has anyone used these on a desolate stretch of road, while waiting for help to arrive?

    Yes. My car has one. Even my Nano had! Thankfully never had to use it, though! But I did see it being used by my Bro when his car's tyre got punctured on a highway mid of night!
