Performance data acquisition of my car

Here comes the controversial topic. How fast GTX can go from 0-100kmph. Me and my friend tried on my gtx to find out the timing. But I warn you we didnt push too hard and didnt do revv matching and the car exhaust pipe is broken in half which makes ALL SHOW NO GO .
I have a Vbox mini/Vbox 2 equal gps harware which can record at the speed of 10 hz which is 0.1 sec data logging. The idea is to find how fast the car can go as it is and make improvement and tune it further to atleast touch sub 10sec to a ton.

My next plan of action is to make decent FFE and other performance mod stuff. If you noticed 0-80kmph the has the capacity to do under 12 sec for sure in the stock form.

Red face Re: Performance data acquisition of my car

Fixed the exhaust back and tried on an uneventful day. Power was everywhere and wheel spin on its glory. Tested 90hp punto and my car. Due to lack of time I couldnt able to manage perfect run. If the launch could have been perfect then it would come under 12 sec radar.

How much would tires influence such speed tests?

I believe at least a second is shaved off in the wheel-spin at dead-start. If the wheel had better traction, it would be off the blocks faster than a tire with low traction but the trade-off is that for the rest of the stretch the tire with better traction can also be a liability, wouldn't it?
My lug nuts require more torque than your Honda makes

The last screen shot was the comparison between my best run 14.076 sec to the best timing I got on that day. If you see the comparison I have lost quite a good time in launch itself 0-10 kmph. Rest of the stuff I am well within my previous runs. I am just beginning to learn this 0-100 thingy so there is always an improvement.

Are you working on downforce and aerodynamics also?

    Dear Dr palio,

Could you just project the torque vs power in each gear and torque vs time in each gear pl.
This way can understand the max torque, power and time spent in gear to understand, where change is required

    Thanks
    Gokulfiat
